Acad/HPGL2 Plot Configuration

Acad 14 config setup for HPGL2 Color plots:
Choose tools from the menu bar
Choose preferences
Choose printer and then new
At ACAD Command prompt type
CONFIG. <enter>
At Configuration menu choose option #2 (allow detailed config --- yes).
Choose #5 (config plotter).
Choose #1 (add plotter).
Choose
HPGL2 PLOTTERS.
Choose HP755cm. If you don't choose that one, choose hp650c.
# of pens = 255
Then all defaults.
When it asks if you want to make any changes (no). You will have to make changes when the first plot is written.
Any other questions in config are default.
Please ZOOM EXTENTS before writing plot file. (Unless plotting windows or views.)
When the first plot file is ready to be written, type plot (at Acad command line).
Yes to make changes.
Yes to change plotter.
Select HP650C driver that you have created.
Yes to make changes again.
No to change plotter.
Yes to change settings.
Extents.
Yes to change pens.
Example: red (1) to pen 1 at a thickness of ? (.007, .010, .012, .014, etc.)
Example: yellow (2) to pen 2 at a thickness of ? (.007, .010, .012, .014, etc.)
The colors that you seen on the screen should be the colors that plot.
Yes to write to file. (This will create a plot file on your computer with the same name as your design file with a .plt extension). This is the only file Action will require to plot.
For sheet size set the closest size to your image. (Action charges by sheet size, not image area.)
Set scale.
That's it.
Please look to see that it is the right sheet size while it is generating the plot.
